Planning For Success

If you want to be successful, you have to have a plan. If you don’t have a plan, you’re not going to be successful; it’s as simple as that.

What about your friend’s birthday? If you want to have a birthday party, you must plan for it. You’ll need to decide when and where you’ll have the party. You must decide who you’re going to invite. You have to decide what you’re going to serve and the activities and games that you’ll offer the guests.

Can you imagine expecting to host a party for your friend if you didn’t make any plans? What are the chances that you and your friend would be together at the same time with all your friend’s friends showing up with presents in hand and words and actions of cheer to celebrate the day? Do you think a beautifully decorated birthday cake would just magically appear, complete with candles and the rest of the trimmings? Not likely.

Do you know anything about building a home? Builders use plans, blueprints, they call them. Yes, a home could be built without one. Which kind of home would you prefer to live in?

And what about retirement? You’ve got to plan for that too, unless you’re ready to live on whatever the government hands out. There’s a lot of misinformation and “tricky” information out there about retirement. That’s why Tom and John McFie wrote Retirement Curveball*. Rather than having all your plans meet curveballs in retirement, you can take a careful look at those curveballs now, and plan differently so you don’t have to swing at those curveballs and strike out later.

When you have plans made for a birthday party or blueprints for a house those plans still have to be put into action in order for there to be any results from the plans. The guests must be called, and the hammer must be put to use.

So how should you prepare for a better financial future?

You should consider attending the next Wealth Summit in Las Vegas, Sept 22-24. Prepare to Prosper is the theme of this Summit. Not only will we explore the “what” and “why”, we’ll explore the “how”. Retirement Curveball will be released at this Summit and you’ll be able to ask direct questions of the authors.

I know there are all kinds of reasons why you should attend…and even more “excuses” why you can’t. But if you’re the one calling the shots in your life and with your finances, you’ll blow the whistle on all those excuses and you’ll find a way to attend so that you can make sure you have the best plan for yourself and are carrying out for the greatest success you desire and deserve.

Am I trying to beat anyone over the head for not attending this Wealth Summit? Absolutely not!  But I know how easy it is to NOT plan for success. I see too many people who do that. And not planning for success means planning for failure. I don’t want that to happen to you.

So just consider this:  Is this the Golden Opportunity you’ve been waiting for? If it is, you’d better not let it slip by.

When opportunity knocks, you should open the door.
